Our Six Day Walking Holiday is a delightful itinerary that allows you to visit six of the beautiful white villages in the Sierra de Grazalema and overnight in four of them. The walks are suitable for anyone with an average level of fitness and our notes ensure confidence in your navigation. Our holidays are based in the mountains villages of Grazalema, Montejaque, Benojoan and Ronda. Your holiday begins on arrival in Seville or Malaga where we bring you to your first night's guesthouse in Grazalema. Grazalema is the highest village in the Sierra and the main base for hiking in the region. The village is full of character and it has many great tapas bars to relax in after your hike. The final night of your holiday is spent in Ronda, this most famous white village is an historical and visual gem. We can also arrange for time to be spent in Seville or Malaga depending which airport you flew into. Seville is the essence of southern Spain, a magnificent and graceful city that typifies the south. Malaga has experienced a resurgence in the last decade and is has seen its city centre transformed and is a lovely city to spend you final night in Spain. View our location in Google Maps .

Day One: Arrival and transfer to Grazalema (6km introductory walk depending on arrival time). We will meet you at the airport in Seville or Malaga and transport you to your first nights' guesthouse in the hill top village of Grazalema. It is a lovely drive to Ronda from both Airports. Depending on your arrival time we have planned a short introductory walk to introduce you to the village and its surroundings.

Day Two: Grazalema to Benocoaz, 10km Medium (Overnight Grazalema) Know locally as the Salto de Cabrera this is a great walk to begin with. You will experience the delights of the Sierra and come close to the extrodinary birds of prey that live in the cliffs alongside the walk. Finishing up in the village of Benocaz you can enjoy a drink or two before returning to Grazalema about 4pm.

Day Three: Villaluenga del Rosario to Montejaque 18kms Medium (Overnight Montejaque) The longest walk of the holiday this is a walk for those who wish to get away from it all. The walks starts in the tranquill village of Villaluenga. There is an abundance of flora and fauna along this route.

Day Four: Montejaque to Jimera de Libar, 9kms, Medium (Overnight Benaojan). A real contrast to the day before, this trek follows the workers path above the Ronda to Algeciras railway line. The line is regarded as one of the great railway journeys in the world and the scenery along its route is terrific. Hop on the train at the end of the walk to return to Benaojan.

Day Five: Benaojan to Ronda 11km Medium (Overnight Ronda) This walk takes us from the Sierra into the dramatically situated village of Ronda. Its famous bridge can be seen from afar as you approach from the south. A delightful walk finishing in the grandest mountaintop village in Spain.
